Windows 2000 operating system at the Windows 2000 Conference and
Expo…”

“Neoware’s new line of information appliances allows computer
users to access applications running on multi-user Windows
2000-based servers, as well as mainframes, minicomputers and the
Internet. Used in conjunction with the multi-user capabilities of
Microsoft’s Windows 2000 operating system, Neoware’s new appliances
provide access to the full range of Windows 2000-based
applications, with lower up-front and administrative costs than
personal computers.”

“Neoware’s new information appliances, which are based on the
Windows CE operating system, feature a new, highly integrated
hardware architecture based on the National Semiconductor Geode
processor with superior performance and manageability. Future
versions of this product line will be available with Neoware’s new
embedded Linux operating system.
With these new products,
Neoware intends to offer users of Linux and Windows-based
applications simple-to-use appliances with superior performance,
robust central management and access to virtually any application
running on any server.”
