“…Penguin is teaming up with Linux Online, a not-for-profit
Web site for Linux users worldwide, in a unique effort to promote
the Linux Operating System (OS). The two Open Source Community
leaders have devised a giveaway that they expect will attract
thousands of new visitors to the Linux Online…”

“The giveaway will be open to everyone who visits the Web site
now through August 1. Each visitor will be given the opportunity to
complete an entry form for a chance to win a state-of-the-art
Penguin Pentium III 500Mhz computer running the Linux OS.”

“A good way to get the Linux message out to people,” said
Allison Huynh, vice president of Penguin Computing, “is to give
people the opportunity actually to own a state-of-the art
Linux-based system. Penguin Computing has been manufacturing these
systems for major ISP’s, e-commerce companies, and other corporate
enterprises since 1998.”
