“Radstone Technology and Lynx Real-Time Systems of San Jose,
Calif., have partnered to provide Lynx milestone BlueCat(TM) Linux
Operating System on Radstone’s popular PPCx family of rugged
PowerPC based Single Board Computers (SBC).”

“The PPC4/4A, latest in the high performance, harsh environment,
SBC family will become a BlueCat reference platform by Q2
2000.”

“The partnership underlines Radstone’s commitment to provide its
customers the best possible choice of Operating Systems within the
military and industrial embedded markets. Those customers are
increasingly seeing Linux with its open source model, as a major
benefit.”

The toolset and code compatibility between BlueCat and
Lynx’ LynxOS(R) real-time operating system, enable systems
containing both non real-time and critical real-time elements to be
constructed from Radstone’s extensive hardware range.
