“Under the agreement, techies.com and Red Hat will provide
content for a co-branded Career Exchange section on www.redhat.com
that gives users access to opportunities at more than 1,600
techies.com client corporation sites nationwide.
Visitors to
redhat.com will have a new navigational option for career
opportunities that links them to Red Hat-hosted pages integrating
geographic-specific techies.com content. Redhat.com users will then
have the opportunity to become techies.com members, granting them
access to one of the most extensive job opportunity databases in
communities throughout the country, along with in-depth information
about technology-driven companies and the technologies they deploy
behind these opportunities.”

“We want redhat.com to become a major resource for tech
professionals–who are the most in-demand professional workforce in
the nation–and we want to offer these professionals a resource for
immediate access to job opportunities within their local market,”
said Walter McCormack, Vice President of redhat.com. “techies.com
has a fast-growing membership base, and they help us provide this
resource because of their focus on individual communities and
because of their ability to provide perfect matching between
employers and prospective employees.”
