“In May, Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA) and SuSE
Holding AG (SuSE), Europe’s leading Linux distributor, announced a
wide-ranging agreement to expand the adoption of Linux in
enterprise computing environments throughout Europe. This spring,
SuSE also announced worldwide partner programs specifically for
VARs, ISVs, Linux system integrators and consultants. SuSE is also
offering professional services catering to mid-to-large businesses
in Europe.

“Our partnership strategy is based on offering our solid
engineering background,
which we have been demonstrating with
a wide range of contributions to projects like the Linux(tm)
Kernel, XFree86(tm), KDE, I4L, USB, and ALSA, to partners invested
in expanding their product offering on Linux,” said Marc
Torres, President of SuSE, Inc.”
