“SYNNEX Information Technologies, Inc., a premier IT supply
chain integrator and a leader in electronics manufacturing
services, announced an agreement with IBM(R) and Red Hat to provide
customized business solutions for Internet Solution Providers
(ISPs), Application Service providers (ASPs) and Value-Added
Resellers (VARs).”

“The IBM ISP Linux Solution Series will be offered as an
e-business bundle, with basic or enhanced software offerings
pre-loaded and pre-configured on IBM’s Netfinity 4000R rackmount
file servers. Designed to provide ISPs with a complete
solution, the ISP Linux Solution Series includes everything needed
to implement a core set of services.

“The revamped server offerings reflect IBM’s commitment to Linux
as the operating system for Internet applications. IBM intends to
support for implementation and optimization for customers and
provide consulting for IBM hardware and Linux. Customers will also
benefit from built-in pre-tested offerings (IBM Freeware) and tools
that are designed to simplify installation.”
