“In Response to Customer Demand for Robust, Reliable
Linux-Compatible Servers, Toshiba is Certifying Its Entire Line of
Magnia PC-Servers for Red Hat Linux”

“The Computer Systems Division (CSD) of Toshiba America
Information Systems, Inc. (TAIS) today announced it is certifying
its entire line of Magnia(TM) PC servers for Red Hat® Linux.
The move came in response to growing customer demand for powerful
and reliable Internet and enterprise server solutions based on the
Linux operating system…”

“Linux is being used by many companies on their Internet servers
as well as in a range of other applications. Toshiba chose to
certify its Magnia servers with the award-winning Red Hat Linux
because the operating system provides users with an easy-to-use
interface and a wealth of features to maximize the robustness and
flexibility of Toshiba’s servers. Toshiba is currently certifying
its existing line of Magnia PC servers with Red Hat Linux Version
5.2 and plans to certify compatibility of future server products
with Version 6.0 and subsequent releases of Red Hat Linux.”
