“TurboLinux, Inc., the high-performance Linux company, today
announced that computer giant Acer will ship the TurboLinux
operating system in the European market on selected models of
AcerPower and Veriton business desktop computers.”

“Acer will offer TurboLinux in a choice of seven localized
languages depending on the geographical market. The Acer business
computers bundled with TurboLinux will be available across Europe
by October 1, 2000, through selected Acer channels.”

“TurboLinux offers a robust and complete business solution with
its operating system that will add significant value for our
customers in Europe who wish to work with Linux,” said Maya
Panconcelli, Software Marketing Manager for Acer Europe. “We think
that TurboLinux has excellent localized language versions of its
software and that our customers will appreciate the ease of use and
power of the TurboLinux operating system.”
