“TurboLinux, the high performance Linux company, today announced
its English language desktop and server products are available at
more than 1,600 leading retail stores in North America, including
CompUSA, Staples and Fry’s Electronics.”

TurboLinux, which outsold Microsoft Windows products at
retail stores in Japan last July, also announced it had signed
distribution agreements in North America with Navarre Corporation,
a leading retail distributor, and Merisel, Inc., a Fortune 500
company.

“Merisel will provide resellers the entire range of TurboLinux
products, including Workstation 4.0, Server 4.0 and TurboCluster
4.0, the first Linux software clustering solution. Navarre will
provide retailers TurboLinux Workstation 4.0 and Server 4.0.
“TurboLinux has enjoyed tremendous success in Japan and China and
now we are excited to bring our products to North American Linux
customers in time for the holidays,” said Cliff Miller, CEO of
TurboLinux. “To support our new retail partners and to reward
TurboLinux customers, we are offering $20 rebates on our new
TurboLinux workstation 4.0 product through 1999.”
