“TurboLinux, the leader in high-performance Linux, today
announced the promotion of John Terpstra, formerly managing
director for Australia and New Zealand operations at the company,
to vice president-development and has named SGI veteran Dave
McAllister director of strategic technologies.”

“Terpstra will manage and direct the development teams in the
U.S., China and Japan and coordinate the international open source
SAMBA project from the company’s new headquarters in Brisbane, CA.
McAllister will assume responsibility for the direction of
TurboLinux advanced clustering technologies, build alliance
partnerships with hardware and software vendors, represent
TurboLinux in speaking engagements and work with customers to
design real world high availability solutions around
TurboLinux.”
