Calamares 2.4.3 is here two weeks after the previous maintenance update, versioned 2.4.3, and promises to add multiple improvements to the LUKS-based full-disk encryption, such as the ability to support early unlocking with Debian initramfs and Dracut, using the new initramfscfg and dracutlukscfg modules respectively. Furthermore, it includes several bug fixes that should further improve LUKS (Linux Unified Key Setup) support on Debian GNU/Linux operating systems and derivatives by adding better handling of /etc/crypttab, as well as to address an issue that could have cause a LUKS encrypted installation to fail if other similar partitions were present.
