Calamares 2.4.1 is here as a bug fix release that promises to patch a few of the issues there were discovered or reported by users since Calamares 2.4, among which we can mention enforcement of applying timezone settings set during installation to certain desktop environments, such as KDE Plasma 5, during first boot. There was another timezone-related issue in Calamares 2.4, which didn’t allow the live system to apply the timezone changes set during installation to the live session, so thanks for the new workaround added to the timezone selector behavior, these changes are now applied immediately.
