Cinnamon 3.2 Desktop to Enable Sounds for Notifications, Add New Screensaver

Then he informs us about the fact that the soon-to-be-released Linux Mint 18 KDE Edition will ship with the SDDM display manager instead of MDM (Mint Display Manager) that’s used in all the other flavors. Additionally, it looks like the Linux Mint 18 “Sarah” KDE Edition will drop its well-known blue Linux Mint icon for a green one, along with a revamped boot splash screen that’s also being used on the Cinnamon, MATE, and Xfce editions. A pubic beta release of Linux Mint 18 KDE is expected to land sometime this month.
