“Pacific HiTech is renaming itself after its flagship Linux
operating system product, TurboLinux, as part of its effort to
expand beyond its Asian roots.”

“Pacific HiTech has submitted the paperwork for the change, said
chief executive Cliff Miller. ‘It should happen in the next week or
so,’ he said in an interview today.”

“‘The company has grown out of its Pacific Rim roots,’ said Lonn
Johnston, vice president of TurboLinux operations in North America.
‘We have larger plans and ambitions.'”
