“Dell to install Linux-based system for Burlington Coat, take
Red Hat stake”

“Dell Computer said Tuesday it will install 1,250 computers
using the Linux operating system at discount retailer Burlington
Coat Factory, the latest win for the increasingly popular computer
operating software.”

“Dell said it is offering Linux preinstalled on workstations and
servers and will offer it on some desktop machines by mid-year.
Workstations are powerful computers used by engineers and other
researchers; servers link personal computers into networks.”
