“Computer maker Dell (DELL) gained 2-3/16 to 46-1/4 as investors
applauded the company’s deepening investment in the Linux operating
system. The company announced Tuesday morning that it is buying a
stake in Red Hat Software, which publishes and supports Linux. Dell
also said it will make Linux-driven computer workstations and
servers available to corporate clients.”
