                     Commercial Support for PostgreSQL

Wolfville, NS - In cooperation with the PostgreSQL Global Development
Group, PostgreSQL Inc. will be launching commercial support for the
object-relational database management system, PostgreSQL on May 20. As the
most advanced open source RDBMS available, PostgreSQL receives widespread
use, and PostgreSQL Inc. is responding to expressed demand for relevant
commercial support.

Since PostgreSQL does not limit the number of users or server
installations, support contracts are based on a number of incidents, which
should help meet the needs of small, medium, and large businesses. Income
generated from PostgreSQL Commercial Support will be used for further
development and maintenance, as well as the funding of PostgreSQL-related
projects.

Although PostgreSQL Commercial Support will be officially launched on May
20, 1999, PostgreSQL Inc. is encouraging prior inquiries. For further
