investment by Intel, Netscape and a handful of venture capitalists
in Red Hat, a Linux software packager based in North Carolina. The
move is one more sign of the rising tide behind Linux, the
increasingly popular UNIX-based operating system that is available
over the Internet as freeware or shareware.”
