Computerworld.NZ Open Source Society Elects Councillors Virtually

“The Open Source Society has elected several councillors ahead
of an annual general meeting and will meet later this week for the
first time to work out the basic society structure.

“As IDGNet reported last month, (Open Source AGM called off due
to overwhelming demand) the society’s first attempts at a
real-world meeting were dashed because of excessive numbers of
interested parties.

“Since then the society members have been ‘meeting’ virtually,
holding a number of online discussions and voting on councillors to
take the society into the real world…”
