“Along with providing 24 x 7 customer phone support, IBM
unveiled alliances with four Linux vendors,Caldera Systems Inc.,
Pacific HiTech Inc., Red Hat Software Inc. and SuSE Holding AG. IBM
will work with the vendors to provide customer support, training
and co-marketing programs.”

“The Armonk, N.Y.-based company made its announcement during the
LinuxWorld Expo conference here.”

“Enthusiasm for the Linux operating system was high here at the
conference, particularly among small businesses.”
