“IBM Corp., Armonk, N.Y., plans to unveil the availability of
its NetFinity 3500 M10 Servers running Linux, as well as the
availability of SAP AG’s R3 application suite for Linux on that
server.”

“IBM’s Microelectronics division also will demonstrate a
PowerPC-based solution for Linux thin servers. The company hopes
its copper-based PowerPC processor will be an attractive solution
for thin-server and embedded Linux systems, IBM executives
said.”
