“Toshiba America Information Systems Inc. is expanding its
server line, including the release of its first rack-mountable
model, and unveiling support for Linux.”

“The Irvine, Calif.-based company’s Computer Systems Division
said it hopes to provide resellers with the new configurations and
support in boosting its Magnia server line.”

“Toshiba introduced its first servers to the U.S. market about a
year ago and slowly has been ramping up its channels, executives
said. It sells none of its products direct.”
