FUSE-based cryptographic filesystem that transparently encrypts
files, using an arbitrary directory as storage for the encrypted

there is also an easier way to integrate it with your
Desktop:Cryptkeeper.“Cryptkeeper is a Linux system tray applet that manages EncFS
encrypted folders.“Installation: To build the source package you need: libgtk+
>= 2.8 gconf 2.0 encfs and fuse (I used fuse 2.6.3) But probably
