“An interesting point that has been highlighted as a result of
one American reviewer, Walter Mossberg of the Wall Street Journal,
having obtained an Ubuntu-loaded Dell laptop for a review, is the
fact that Dell appears to be plastering a vanilla Ubuntu
installation on these machines and then selling them…

“It does beg the question: why isn’t some tweaking done before
the machines are sold…?”
