“OpenOffice.org can be installed on Linux as a single-user
installation or as a multi-user installation. When installed on a
Linux on POWER server, OpenOffice.org should be installed as a
multi-user installation; this will provide access to the
productivity tools for all users who have accounts on the POWER
server.

“A multi-user installation consists of two phases. The first
phase, which is typically conducted by the superuser (root) or
other administrator, includes the installation of all the shared
components on a single computer. The second phase is a user’s
Workstation Installation, which includes installation of
