Devil-Linux 1.8.0 promises to be a major release with many improvements and additions, among which we can mention the use of SquashFS as the main file system, along with high compression LZ4, and a Google authenticator was added for PAM (Pluggable Authentication Module). Additionally, there’s now the Sieve filtering support for the Dovecot secure IMAP and POP3 server, thanks to the addition of Pigeonhole, Linux-HA (High-Availability Linux) has been replaced with Corosync 2.x and Pacemaker for those who want the new industry standard tools to create a high availability (HA) server infrastructure.
