STMicroelectronics (Lexington, Mass.) is introducing an
“industrial” version of its STPC, an X86 PC-on-a-chip, at this
week’s Embedded Systems Conference, here. The STPC-Industrial grade
version is geared toward embedded processor and control
applications.
Because it is X86-compatible, the STPC will readily run DOS, all
versions of Windows, Windows CE, QNX, Linux and NCOS.
