Enterprise Linux Today: RealScale Technologies Delivers The First High-Availability Blade Server

“RealScale Technologies Inc. today announced the
availability for delivery of the first High-Availability Blade
Server cluster. Based on Intel architecture, it operates on Red Hat
Linux 6.2 and 7.1.

“RealScale’s i-Cluster is incontestably the most standard and
open Blade Server cluster available on the market today.” said
Serge Dujardin, President of RealScale Technologies.

The i-Cluster can host up to 240 Blade Servers in a standard 19″
rack. Holding potentially 12 servers and 2 redundant Fast Ethernet
switches – all hot swappable -, up to 20 ‘appliance’ chassis can be
centrally managed through a choice of industry recognized
interfaces (secured web, i-Shell command line interface and SNMP)
for easy deployment in the customer environment.”
