“The Icarus solution, running TurboLinux Server and TurboLinux
Cluster Server 6 for the operating system and clustering, is hosted
on rack-mounted clusters of Intel servers.”

“Planitis.Net plans to extend its ISP services to Greece and
then throughout the Balkan states of Europe over the next two
quarters. TurboLinux Cluster Server 6 provides failover for the
distributed datacenter to guarantee that customers who subscribe to
the ISP have the highest redundancy and reliability, combined with
maximized load balancing capabilities for improved
performance.

“TurboLinux is flexible enough to accommodate both present and
future needs. It provides a clear path which does not limit the
project to any single hardware architecture,” said Michael
Bielicki, CTO for CyLinux Cluster Technologies. “In respect to
multi-architecture capabilities, the flexibility of TurboLinux is
second to none.”
