represent 2600, have convinced a growing segment of the public that
source code is indeed speech and that viruses, vulnerability
exploits and copyright hacks are protected by the Bill of
Rights….

Digital Millennium Copyright Act for protection. Sorry, that won’t
work either. Section 1201 of the DMCA clearly states that it is
against the law to gain unauthorized access to copyrighted material
or to make available technologies-such as DeCSS-used to defeat
technological measures controlling access.”
