“Last Friday, Sun Microsystems Inc. quietly announced that it
was retiring the Sun Industry Standard Source License, which has
been most prominently used in OpenOffice.org, the leading
open-source office suite.

“With SISSL retired, OO.o will be licensed under the LGPL,
according to Sun’s chief open-source officer, Simon Phipps…”
