“KOffice comes with seven programs: KSpread, KPresenter,
KDiagramm, KImage, KIllustrator, KFormula and KWord. Each program
is very similar to Microsoft Office with one distinct difference,
KOffice has more tools! KSpread is a spreadsheet very similar to
Excel and Lotus 1-2-3, KPresenter is a presentation program similar
to PowerPoint, KDiagramm is a program for drawing charts, KImage is
a powerful image manipulation program, KIllustrator is a vector
drawing program, KFormula is a formula drawing program, and KWord
is the word processor.

“The most impressive feature of KOffice, as with any office
suite, is the word processor KWord. To be completely honest, I felt
like I was using Microsoft Word.”

“This office suite is very impressive, easy to use and very well
integrated. In fact, in the future, the KDE team plans to integrate
the office suite into KDE 2.0.”
