“LINUX supporters worldwide are planning once again to take
their cause to the streets to inform a world weaned on Microsoft
products that open source systems are viable competitors.

“Worldwide Linux Demo Day will be staged on 12 September. Linux
user groups will stage co-ordinated public demonstrations of the
operating system’s capabilities in schools, shopping centres,
workplaces and street corners.

“The event has been adopted by leading Linux vendors VA Linux
Systems, Turbo Linux and Red Hat…”
