Firefox Quantum Next Generation Web Browser Launches November 14, Beta Out Now

Firefox Quantum is, in fact, Firefox 57, the version launching after Firefox 56, which will be released in two days from the moment of writing, on September 28. Firefox 57 has just entered Beta stages of development, offering us a first proper look at its innovative new features and enhancements. First and foremost, Firefox Quantum is powered by an all-new, cutting-edge engine that doubles the browsing speed compared to last year’s release of Firefox. The engine is engineered in such way that it also promises to consume with up to 30% less system memory, compared to Google’s Chrome web browser this time.
