One of the most important features of the newly released openSUSE 13.1 Beta 1 operating system is the availability for testing of the Btrfs file system, which comes only with the ‘safe’ features enabled.
Being powered by Linux kernel 3.11.1, openSUSE 13.1 is built on top of the KDE Software Compilation 4.11.1 and GNOME 3.10 Beta 2 desktop environments, supporting both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures.
