the Linux operating system. Linuxpower has regular feature
articles, interviews, and reviews.”

“I started a news site called darkrain which did linux news,
this was in early 1998. However, I then discovered Slashdot… I
decided… that we needed to do something different than news and
came up with the linux online mag that linuxpower.org is today. I
still am active in it for the same reasons I started, I really like
the people in the linux community.

“… After Barath and Jack (Jack helped us get hosting and did
some writing and coding for linuxpower) started icecast, pretty
much Jeremy and I have been running the site.”
