GNOME developers are so out of touch with their users to the point where I (half-left, artist and theme maker) have stopped making themes for their desktop(GNOME-Shell). Every release, being themes or extensions are broken with no help or support from GNOME upstream what so ever. GNOME 3 was made by their developers for their developers and not users who want to change and customise things. The final straw was the fact that GNOME want to remove the categories in GNOME-Shell, pretty soon there will be nothing left.
