As you might know already, Polari is a simple IRC Client designed from the ground up to integrate seamlessly with the latest GNOME 3 desktop environment, and the upcoming major release promises interesting additions, such as support for NickServ passwords, as well as support for externally configured channels, which some of you will call autojoin. Among other noteworthy features that will land in Polari 3.22 later this month is the addition of a “Connect” item to the room list header menu, the ability to switch channels immediately after a user action, better support for predefined networks, along with improvements to persistent notifications.
