new hard drive in your system. Then boot the machine and login as
root.”

launch and configure the drive for you, just accept all the default
prompts and let it boot Linux normally.”

cfdisk, a graphical harddisk partitioning program. … Cfdisk is
pretty self easy to navigate through, the only things you will need
to know off hand is the Linux partition type (83) and swap file
(82) if you want to make the entire partition an ext2fs. Everything
else is labled clearly in there.”
