“Having used SuSE for a few years now and have found the
distribution to be full featured, heavily packed with software and
targeted at the intermediate to advanced user. However, with the
release of v6.4, SuSE has made significant strides in their effort
to penetrate the growing ‘new Linux user’ market.”

“SuSE has always included great documentation, and enough
software applications to keep any user busy for months. With the
introduction of SuSE 6.4, the SuSE team has added more packages
including almost all the user interfaces you could ever want (KDE,
Enlightenment, GNOME, XFCE, etc.), as well as many other
applications including many ICQ ™ clients, games, etc. SuSE has
also updated many of the important programs including KDE, XFree86
(which now supports ATI Rage 128, SiS 540/630, NVIDIA GeForce,
Savage2000 and others). SuSE comes on 6 CD-ROMs and has over 1500
packages!”

“SuSE has always been a favorite among the GNULinux team.
With the new installation enhancements and other improvements it is
sure to become a widely used distribution for new and seasoned
Linux users alike.”
