Announced last year, on May 22, 2012, Mageia 2 introduced systemd support, ARM and MIPS support, nilfs2 support, Intel Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge support, X.Org Server 1.11.4, Linux kernel 3.3.6, and much more. Today, November 21, we are sorry to announce that starting with this Friday, November 22, 2013, the Mageia development team will stop “feeding” its Mageia 2 operating system with security/critical fixes and software updates.
