GParted 0.23.0 Open Source Partition Editor Adds Support for Setting New Btrfs UUID

Prominent new features in GParted 0.23.0 include support for setting a new file system UUID (Universally Unique Identifier) on the Btrfs file system, support for displaying serial numbers in device information, and support for adding GPT (GUID Partition Table) partition name to the create dialog, as well as to enable online naming. The application has been improved to no longer hand during resizing of FAT16, FAT32, HFS, and HFS+ file systems.
