“The Open Source Initiative’s chairman, Michael Tiemann,
announced Friday that the organization’s licensing board have
officially approve the version three of the General Public License
and Lesser General Public License as OSI-approved.

“Given that the GPL is used for an estimated three-quarters of
free and open source licenses, it might seem strange that the OSI
even had to think about it, but such is the nature of
bureaucracy…”
