settle down to check out the RSS feeds. And what’s this? A pundit
describing how Microsoft could destroy Linux. Not that that’s much
new. After all, I seem to remember that Windows 2000 was going to
brush me aside. Or was it XP? Or Server 2003? Not so long ago,
wasn’t it Unixware’s LKP that was going to kill me? Or was it
Project Janus? Nah, I must be getting mixed up–it’s Longhorn that
will destroy Linux.

“If I don’t die of old age before it’s released.

“Or Palladium. Or Shared Source. Say, I need more memory to keep
track of all the ways folks think they can kill me off…”
