— Promote Open Source as an alternative, in particular Linux and
related software
— Provide forum to update and exchange knowledge on open source

— What is Open Source and Linux, and what can it do for you
— Benefit of using Linux and other open source software
— Open source – the future of software

Session 2: Experience and success stories
— Experience in commercial sector (both local and overseas)
— Experience in education sector

Session 3: Tutorials
— Installation and configuration
— Networking and Internet applications
— Office applications (e.g. Star, KDE, etc)
— Comparison and integration with popular commercial software

Session 4: Panel discussion

Exhibition and demonstration Including books, Linux
distributions and other Linux based software and systems

Fees: HK$200 per attendant, including lunch and tea
