“South Korea’s G.Mate has confirmed it plans to begin
shipping the Yopy, a Linux-based personal digital assistant, in
late December.

At the same time, the company also began accepting orders for
the device through its Web site, quoting a December 21 shipping
date and a price of $399.

The Yopy was first shown in public more than a year and a half
ago, at the Cebit 2000 trade show in Hannover, Germany, and its
shipping date has slipped several times since then.”
