“iEMU is one-of-a-kind project and is backed by Kickstarter, a
proud organization that brings financial backing to ‘creative ideas
and ambitious endeavours.’ It follows an innovative funding policy-
“Crowdfunding Creative Projects,” and has several successful
start-ups to its credit including the famous iPod Nano Watch
Project in December of 2010.“Heading this rather ambitious project is Chris Wade, a known
name in iPhone software. He has been tinkering with the
iPhone-closed technology ever since Apple launched the smartphone.
The immediate aim of the project is to emulate the chipset that
runs on iPhone 4 as well the iPad1, the Samsung S5L8930 (A4). As of
the present status update, the CPU emulation is completed.”
