“I also feel the same way about companies. That feeling is
multiplied by the size of the company and then heaped with a
healthy dose of wondering what that company wants to squeeze out of
me. Generally the larger a company is, the more removed from
humanity it becomes and is more concerned about being above the
bottom line than providing quality service to the customer.

“Ever since Open Source flew into the radar of large companies
involved in the manipulating of voltages through silicon chips, (I
suddenly have a craving for fish 🙂 there have been quite a few
responses. One of which was the apparent attempt at chair
levitation. Slowly, but surely, these computing leviathans have
been embracing Open Source. First secretly by using Open Source
Software in their hardware products then openly by promoting their
services and “expertise”.
