“Both Novell and Computer Associates on Tuesday are boosting
system management facilities for Linux.”

“Novell unveiled Novell Directory Services (NDS) for Linux,
which the company is describing as a key component of plans to
spread the use of the directory across corporate enterprises and
the Web.”

“Meanwhile, CA announced a partnership with Linux vendor Pacific
HiTech in which Pacific HiTech will develop OS solutions
incorporating the TurboLinux platform and CA’s Unicenter TNG
management technology, for worldwide distribution. CA will develop
versions of Unicenter TNG and Unicenter TNG Framework to support
TurboLinux.”
