This product review from the InfoWorld Test Center compares
Redhat 6.0 and Caldera OpenLinux 2.2 side by side and concludes
they are both “fine choices”.

“Red Hat 6.0 and Caldera OpenLinux 2.2, both recently released,
take Linux one step closer to broad acceptance on corporate
desktops and servers.”

“Even though Linux still suffers from some fundamental problems,
its core system is still one of the best developed yet.”

“One of the most exciting new features is symmetric
multiprocessing (SMP) support, and with the 2.2.x kernel, you can
now run as many as 16 processors in one machine.”

“… both systems are fine choices and offer distinct
advantages, so above all, I suggest that you standardize on the one
that targets your primary needs, because each can be customized to
support the features of the other.”
